Anime style comic girl marker art
I started with a pencil sketch to draft the design, then used a black marker pen to ink the details, followed by choosing purple for the hair to finish the work, because for some reason I think purple represents “futuristic”. Here’s the time-lapse video and the final version of the marker art.

Experimenting with colour markers to explore various art styles, I began by sketching the artwork with a pencil to draft the composition. Next, I used a black pen to carefully trace around the pencil draft, aiming to maintain simplicity with clean lines. The concept was to employ only a limited palette of colours to bring the artwork to life.

Skateboarding marker art
This skateboarding marker drawing is inspired by many scenery in Australia, with people enjoying a relaxed morning or afternoon of skating in the local areas. Whether is going to shops or coming back from work.
I started the drawing with pencil sketch to complete a rough outline of what I want the drawing to look like, and then trace the drawing with black marker pen. I used colour marker pen to fill in the colours, I definitely learnt that it is better to wait for the colour marker to dry off, before drawing another layer on top of it, to prevent the smudging.
